Defrauding at the Saint-Angele-de-Monnoir Church Quebec

As reported by La Voix del'Est, a long time volunteer of the Fabrique of Saint-Angele-de-Monnoir Church in Saint-Angele-de-Monnoir, Quebec had embezzled money. 

A large amount of money had been found to be embezzled by falsified documents. The falsified documents had been discovered when the financial report had been made for the Diocese of Saint-Hyacinthe.

Parish priest, Éloi Giard commented that when the volunteer had been asked for clarifying documents she had no other option but to come clean.

The embezzlement had been going on for a number of years and social media rumours claim that the amount could be near roughly $100,000.

The investigation is on-going.
