Corpus Christi Church Sees Break and Enter in Thunder Bay

As reported by Thunder Bay Police Service, Corpus Christi Church was broken into sometime between July 29 and July 30, 2022, between the hours of 1:30 PM and 10:30 AM.

It is suspected that a man had broken in and damaged the altar, which caused distress to church-goers who attend mass services there. After reviewing the evidence of damage caused by the break-in, the Thunder Bay Police Service Community Inclusion Team has ruled this incident to be a hate motivated crime. The investigation is still on-going.
