Church

June 2018
As reported by CBC News, Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Windsor had its downspouts stolen.
Twice this incident had happened by someone coming to the church at night time to cut and remove the copper downspouts. The church is 176 years old.
Surveillance cameras caught the suspect who supposedly reached as high as they could to cut down most of the downspouts.
Nelson Couto, the communications officer for the Diocese of London states that most likely the copper would be used for monetary gain, however, they are not worth much.
While the camera caught the act, the suspect managed to stay out of view. A police report has been filed.
