In a post on Facebook.com, Freddy Beach and Area Chatterbox posted the incidence involving a 22-year old man named Mitchell Ivan Scott Grandy.

Grandy was said to have broken into Greenwood Drive Baptist Church and Greener Village on April 19, into the Devon Park Baptist Church on April 20, and into the Salvation Army Fredericton Community Church and St. Anthony's Catholic Church on April 21.

He was brought to court to answer to the five counts of break, enter and theft. He pleaded guilty to stealing a 2007 Chrysler Sebring and also for fleeing the police using that vehicle on April 20, and then on the 21 breaking into St. Anthony's Catholic Church to steal cheques from the church.
