Church (Former)

As reported by Global News Saint-Paul Roman Catholic Church in Montreal was completely destroyed by fire in a five alarm fire during late February.
Fire crews arrived on the scene around 1:30 p.m. with most of the church already descending through the blaze. 150 residents were evacuated and 73 of them had been housed in the building that was formerly the rectory of the church.
The church had been out of use in recent years and no one was injured in the fire. The building had been a staple to the community, built in 1910. It was part of a series of buildings regarded as a heritage property. It is a complete loss.
The cause of the fire remains unknown and an investigation to determine its' cause is underway.
