St. Kevin's Catholic Church Suffers Theft in Welland, Ontario

In Welland, Ontario, on March 11, 2025, St. Kevin's Catholic Church facility house was broken into by two individuals. They stole segments of the air conditioning units being housed there, resulting in $20,000 worth of damages. 

The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) report that one Jacob Golden of Welland was arrested on May 26, 2025, with counts of breaking and entering to commit an offence, trafficking property that was stolen, and failing to comply with his probation. The police are also looking for a second individual who worked with Golden in the theft scheme. 

The description of the other perpetrator is as follows: a white male, between 5'8" to 5'10" in height, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded jacket and grey jeans with grey running shoes.
